Clinical Genomic Liaison

We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Genomic Liaison to join the team!
GDx Innovator Profile:
The Clinical Genomic Liaison is a customer facing position and a critical member of both the GenomeDx commercial & clinical teams. You will be responsible for delivering key messages, presenting complex data, providing on-site customer service and education, providing critical feedback as well as addressing customer challenges to maximize adoption in key accounts. You will build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of your customers, and support our commercialization efforts. You will have extensive experience communicating complex information in Urology, Urothelial Cancer or other solid tumor disciplines, and will have pharmaceutical or
molecular diagnostic industry experience.
What you are great at doing:
Building, managing and maintaining relationships with key accounts in your territory.
Being an ambassador for the brand; demonstrating in-depth knowledge of GenomeDx, its vision and our products.
Educating and informing clinicians and other decision makers through the presentation of complex scientific ideas relevant to the intersection between the fields of oncology and genomics.
Establishing linkage between GenomeDx technologies and existing challenges in the clinic.
Identifying, developing and maintaining professional relationships with thought leaders, researchers and healthcare professionals in Urology to ensure communication of current and emerging scientific information resulting in appropriate use of the product Clinical Expertise.
Providing scientific exchange to Large Urology Practices, Physician Groups, Integrated Health Systems, Strategic Accounts, and Academic Medical Centers, payors, commercial managed markets and related health care organizations.
Maintaining clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in the urology & genomics arenas; interpret and effectively communicate relevant topics.
Providing scientific support during medical conferences, meetings and trade shows.
Assisting in development and organization of local key opinion leader groups.
Providing strategic input as a member of cross functional teams.
Imparting key customer insights to business partners with proposed business solutions to help guide strategic direction within the assigned region.
Providing clinical input and training to commercial functions within regulatory guidelines.
Assisting with content development and scientific review of presentations and promotional materials upon request.
What you need to be successful:
Advanced degree (PhD) in relevant medical or scientific discipline.
Experience in urology and/or cancer genomics is preferred, pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience also considered.
Experience with prognostic or predictive assays is a plus.
Established urology contacts in specific geography is a plus.
Willingness to travel, up to 70%.
Position based in the western half of the Unites States.
Must live near major airport as frequent travel may be required.
What you will bring to the team:
Working knowledge, training or clinical experience in genomics, molecular biology or urology testing is a plus.
Proven key account management skills.
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven Project Management, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work in PowerPoint to produce/edit presentations.
